REALLY GOOD QUESTIONS
REALLY GOOD QUESTIONS
Following on from my blog post about Asking Better Questions, I’m going to try and write a follow up: Really Good Questions.
The aim will be to collate a list of the best questions, prompts and provocations that strategists from all areas of the communications industry use to drive their thinking and their ideas into new, interesting and unexpected places. Below is a form if you’d like to submit your best questions for inclusion.
By way of example, a question i always find incredibly useful when writing is “Legitimately, what is the most provocative thing i could say to Client X?” This pushes me to places I might not ordinarily have gone and it forces me to create my stories in a way which biases toward attention.
I also like to ask myself “how can I treat Client X as a media owner?” - this forces me to look for media touchpoints which could be leveraged better or may be forgotten in the media planning process ordinarily.
What are your ‘really good questions’?
Use the form below to submit examples of prompts and questions you ask yourself in your work. All contributors will be credited and referenced in the final blog post.
