Week Notes // 4th December

Have spent a good deal of time actually writing this week and have managed to publish two blog posts. Not super long, but both had been hanging around in notes for a little while so was good to get them to a relatively polished state and published.

Need to be more strategic about when I post them to social channels. Some clear dead-zones as far as Linkedin is concerned.

Pitch process finished. They have a habit of feeling like they’re moving backward before they get better. This project was largely conducted remotely and with teams spread across a couple of challenging time zones. Think we got there in the end. As always with these things, it’s good to meet new colleagues in different parts of the organisation.

Hoping to shut computer down , put out of office on etc etc etc for Christmas from the end of day on Wednesday. Giving the late finish for schools this year, that means I’ll find myself with a bit of extra time before having to look after the boy. Want to attempt to get up to Tate Britain for the Sarah Lucas retrospective before it shuts.

For what it’s worth, will be posting a list of highlights from my reading, watching and listening this year. Largely a riff on what I posted last year under the title What are you Reading? Have done a quick list. Probably not read as much as I would have liked, though what I have read I enjoyed a lot.
